Casino house rules for poker III

Almost every casino has some or the other kind of unique set of rules binding on the gamblers. However, there are also some common poker rules followed by casino houses that all poker players are required to observe in course of the games.

One such important edict states that any payer wishing to re-raise or call must match the amount of the current raise or the bet size in the earlier round. He is exempt from such a rule only when he wagers his entire chip stock by going all-in. A major rule for poker players strictly to be followed is that no hole cards, even of those players who have folded, can be revealed before showdown. Known as the ‘Show one, show all’ rule, hereby if one player shows his hole cards to another, the other players can also demand to see the revealing player’s cards. This rule also includes the uncalled winning hand. Interestingly, when a player has a winning hand and it is uncalled, he is free to expose or not to expose his hand.

It is commonly understood that other players or those who are merely watching a game in progress, can in any way advise anyone on how to play his hand. Some other prohibited activity during playing poker games include not divulging the hand by any verbal manner or any gesture and also no player can, under any condition, remove cards from the table and conceal them in any way. If a player wants to convince other players to fold their hands by showing his superior hand, this practice is also against rules of the game. Another regulation requires all players to not conceal their chips that have the highest value. Also, not only buying and sharing of chips among players is not allowed, no one may also share chips that are only his. And last but not the least is the golden rule that not the player’s statement but what his hand-held cards really are should determine the outcome of a game during showdown.
